Board Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of every month, DARK in August and December of every year.  Members are welcome to attend, but must reserve a seat 1 week prior to the meeting.  Meetings are usually held at different hotels or restaurants each month, so members must contact us for the location.  The cost to attend the Board of Director's Luncheon/Meeting is $35.  During COVID, meetings are via Zoom and are free for members to attend.

PSHA Members receive information on issues that are of interest to the hospitality industry; are invited to attend our monthly educational meetings and participate in PSHA events. All members are listed on the PSHA website with a link to their business website.

        • Informative speakers with information on timely topics relating to the hospitality industry as well as city and other agencies’ news.  Every year we have an update from the  Palm Springs Convention Center/ Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism and the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau.  In 2019, some of the speakers included Cal State San Bernardino Palm Desert Campus' new Hospitality Program, the upcoming College of the Desert Palm Desert Campus,  a Downtown Development Update, a Cannabis Update and a Plaza Theatre Update.  Previous speakers have included: the Mayor, City Manager, Fire Chief, Fire Marshall, Chairman of Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, CVAG, CVEP, Salton Sea, California Tourism Association, Sacramento Legislative Update, Riverside County Update, Harold Matzner from the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Goldenvoice for Coachella & Stagecoach.  We have also heard various expert speakers on OSHA, ADA Issues, Hotel/Restaurant Insurance Issues, Employment Law Issues for businesses, the ABC, programs available through the County’s Workforce Development Agency, Cyber Security and more.
